    Engagement Proposal

What better way to propose to your special someone than to say it with music. No matter what your future bride to be's favorite song is, I can learn and interpret it on the saxophone well within a day to less than a few hours before your special evening. Any style including jazz, classical, pop, rock, R&B and much more. Whatever makes her happy. You pick your favorite location and time, and I will be there whether it is indoors or outside.

At this time I am proud to announce a very special offer from Manhattan Carriage Company that includes pedicab service to Central Park, followed by the romantic "Engagement" carriage ride, champagne toast provided by your own private concierge, and live music at the sight where you choose to propose during your carriage ride. This is truly the perfect setting.

The perfect setting...
Imagine, a classic evening in Manhattan. You have something special planned for you and the

person you love the most. As far as she knows, the two of you are going to take a romantic carriage ride around beautiful Central Park. For starters, in true New York fashion, you've arranged for a Pedicab to pick the two of you up at your hotel or destination of your choice. As the driver pedals the two of you away, he points out areas of interest as you glance up at the magnificant buildings and landmarks. You are the envy of everyone on foot as you leisurely cruise along.

Then, you pull up to the park where there is a beautiful horse drawn white carriage with gold trim waiting just for you. The two of you board the carriage and you are off to the rhythm of the horses steady "clip clop" and a gentle night breeze. Along the way, your ride is lit by the soft park lanterns, the stars, and the Manhattan skyline filtering through the trees. Your driver talks passionately about this wonderful and historic piece of New York treasure. "So and so has been seen here," and "that scene from that movie was filmed there." But there is one location that is very special and provides the best vantage point from the middle of Central Park. "Next, we are going to Cherry HIll," says the driver, "where you may want to step out of the carriage to take pictures or share a moment and enjoy this most romantic of settings."

As you pull into this secluded little Cul-de-sac you see a musician standing beneath a lantern, a saxophonist. Maybe he is on down time after a gig or before. Maybe he just needed a quiet place to practice. But wait. You recognize the tune he is playing. You say, "Honey, isn't that your favorite song?" How perfect. You step from the carriage and the two of you begin a slow dance as your special song continues. Then, you divert her attention to something you see off in the distance, a building or the moonlit lake. As she turns back toward you, you have taken a knee and have begun to ask the most important of questions, "will you marry me?" And then she realizes, you've done all of this just for her.

Of course, she says "yes." The carriage, the music, and now arrives your own private conceirge with champagne so that the two of you can truly celebrate the most important evening of your lives. But perhaps most importantly, there is the two of you, in love and engaged. Could it be more complete?

Below is a video clip of a proposal from this past December. In order to capture the event, I set up the camera myself just before I began playing. So that it would be unassuming, I could not stop to operate the camera once the couple came over. So, you will see them walking from the carriage and just off screen while the music continues. In the background you can make out the Manhattan skyline from Cherry Hill, Central Park. Enjoy!
